It's only the fourth wednesday into IA, and yet I felt like I had been through a century long of it... This was the payback I got for complaining about being too bored and taking the freedom for granted...

Tasks just came rolling in... I am now doing fluidic testing and literature review... My super free supervisor just keep on assigning me to mentors who would then teach me a lot of things... Things that they expect me to complete independently in the future should they be too busy... So much so that I feel a little bit overly "kiasu"... Having one supervisor and two mentors (not adding the mysterious NTU tutor)... And this had to be the week where I was forced to speak to my supervisor for almost everyday... At the wrong place and wrong time... He had the habit of stopping me along the corridor while I am on my way home... This could be frustrating, especially on days if I was working OT for free... Yeah... Taking that pathetic amount of money and yet had to go home late... Haiz~ What to do?? This is the fate of having a supervisor who is so free... So, feeling drained and out of energy had became an everyday affair...

And I am starting to worry about the report that we are suppose to hand in by the end of IA... Whatever should I add in?? The literature review part is already enough to make the report draggy... Should I include the fabrication and testing too?? If so, then be prepared to be scared off... I mean, by the amount of pages the report would have... Hopefully my super free supervisor could solve this problem for me... Though the chances of him doing so is about... let's be honest... close to zero percent... Hahaha... Just wish that he would spare me from the pain of having to do programming... Anything but that please!!

Having went to NUS for lunch on two occasions, I am mourning over the quality of food and pricing we get in NTU... The choices at NUS is so much better, and the servings are so much bigger than what we get in NTU... The main point is the low charges for most dishes... My final verdict:

One canteen of NUS could easily beat all the canteens we have in NTU hands down...

No wonder so many students prefer NUS over NTU, despite the higher tuition fees collected... The most basic welfare provided is enough to justify that statement... I think after my stay in IME here, I would be spoilt by the canteens in NUS... Don't look too surprise to see me gain weight when I return to NTU... Though I think I would be shaking off those extra kilos pretty fast... No thanks to the canteens in NTU...
