It is time for me to bid my goodbyes to my supervisor and mentors... The 30 weeks long attachment with IME finally ended... And yet my project is nowhere near realizing... Vendors are slow in replying enquiries... And my supervisor often or not would be MIA... So much so that the last two weeks were a little more than stressful... I just felt having to push and rush forward to at least try to conduct some testing for the actuator that was accepted by my supervisor recently after months long of rejections... But as expected, the green light came too late for anything fruitful to be done...

And I am throwing the ball back to his court... It is up to him to decide whether to keep the idea or throw it out of the windows... I no longer care... At least I had worked hard and try to meet his design expectations... And I had secured some materials and companies for him to follow up... Should he really want to continue... Though I highly doubt so, unless he managed to find someone to take charge of the project with him supervising the progress... No offense... But my supervisor is just not the guy who would be spotted inside labs... He is those who had earned his authority to command people...

And so that is the finale for my attachment... For the time begin, I would not be thinking about it anymore... Till I receive my result... Just look out for any further post on this matter in the month to come... Then maybe I would be controlled enough to end the whole experience on a nice note... Provided that the grade would not shock me way off till I do nasty stuff...

The trip back to Malaysia was enjoyable and too short... My sister had joined us in the last minute... Thus causing us to only depart in the late afternoon... Luckily the trip was smooth and fast... In record time we reached our destination... Just in time for a wonderful dinner... The meal was finished in a rush... And then we went to shop... The stuffs are really cheap and attractive... And I am spoilt for choices in choosing the gifts for my supervisor and mentors... But soon night came and we were forced to go back to my auntie house and rest... But not after treating myself to practically two bowls of red bean soup and yummy durian plus more dinner... My mom and my sis almost fainted when they realised the amount of food I ate... Haha...

The next day, after breakfast and some shopping for daily stuffs like shampoo and etc, we embarked on a trip to visit our grandma... Only to be distracted halfway by a huge shopping mall... The entire mall was so grand and big that Vivocity pales in comparison... So more shopping and fun... And when we finally make it to see our grandma, it was way into afternoon... We stay a bit and then left... My auntie insisted that we have lunch before coming back to Singapore... And man, that chicken rice had to be the cheapest and best that I had ever tasted so far!!

The trip back home was however horrible... We failed to secure any tickets for the express bus after travelling to many places... Ended up taking the lousy bus which would stop along the way... And that cost a precious two hours plus as compared to the one hour ride when we went in... Nevertheless, I enjoyed the trip and was glad to be able to visit my grandma... She had aged so much since I last saw her... But with the upcoming semester, I doubt I would be able to return and visit her again soon... Maybe another trip could be arranged for during the national day... This trip was simply too haste to indulge...
