A truly not-to-be-missed Japanese Drama... Through the growth and self-development of the main character, 雨宮 照代 （あめみや てるよ）, who was sent to live with a really distant relative, 鈴木おばあさん, with a few mysteries threw in, the drama struck out as warm-hearted and inspired a lot of self-reflections...
Though not very action-packed, it still managed to grip my attention with the fun and humorous lines... such as having 照代チャン screaming out "わかてるよ！" when she was asked to perform the various tasks... only to have 鈴木おばあさん made fun of her due to the link it had with her 名前... furthermore, as 照代チャン picked up more of the skills required in order to grow up to be more independent, mystery of her possible past and relation with the dead 彼女 who only appeared visible to her was slowly revealed...
The theme song, "運命の向こう" was also beautifully written... all in all, an addictive JDrama which also provided me a chance to learn more simple 新しい 言葉...
